25th Street Station

WV Urban Partners proposes to construct a suburban-style big box retail center in Remington and Old Goucher on the former site of the Anderson automotive dealerships. The site, which would include a Walmart Supercenter, is bounded by 25th Street, Maryland Avenue, 24th Street, and the CSX railroad tracks.

Walmart Design in Washington, DC

Several of the Walmart stores currently either proposed or under construction in Washington, DC have far more urban, walkable and context-sensitive designs than the 25th Street Station proposal.
